Ty'n y Wern, (House in the Meadow), is just outside the picturesque market town of Llangollen, set in some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery in North Wales. There is ample parking space in the private grounds, and the hotel is ideally situated as a touring base for North and Mid Wales, including the Borderlands, with many attractions within easy travelling distance.

We have three single bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, five double bedrooms and two superior double bedrooms, all of which are tastefully decorated and equipped to the same high standard, having fully en-suite bathrooms with bath and/or shower. All have remote control colour television with tele-text and video-recorder, clock/alarm radio with CD player, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have individually controlled central heating radiators. In October 2004, the standards were further enhanced with the introduction of top quality Egyptian Cotton bed linen and luxury towels throughout the hotel.

Ty'n y Wern Country Hotel is situated on the A5 primary route, half a mile east of Llangollen. If you are travelling on the A483 trunk road, we are 10 minutes from the Chirk by-pass - from the MacDonald's roundabout, follow the signs for the A5 (Llangollen). The nearest train station is at Chirk, and the nearest coach stop is at Llangollen with a local bus service from Llangollen to Chirk. (OS Grid Reference for Ty'n y Wern is SJ228418).
