Orchard House, built in 1784 is a former farmhouse with gardens of two acres leading down to the River Seven.
Situated in the village of Marton, the house has 3 double bedrooms, one with twin beds and 2 with double beds.
All rooms have en suite bathrooms.
A full English breakfast is provided.
We offer log fires, low beams and high standards.
Classified 4 Diamond with Silver Award by the English Tourism Council

We also have a self-catering cottage with one double bedroom which we let by the week. Classifed 4 Star by the English Tourism Council.

There is a very good pub/restaurant in the village which provides superb meals.

Nearby attractions and activities:

We are centrally placed to visit York, Whitby, and Scarborough which are all just 45mins drive.
Castle Howard is a must for anyone who likes Stately Homes, along with Duncombe Park and Nunnington Hall.
All three houses are just 15 minutes drive.
You can play golf at Kirkbymoorside, ride on horseback from Sinnington, hire bicycles or just laze in our garden in a deck-chair.

Directions:

The village of Marton is situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park about 20 miles North of York.
Leave York on the A64 to MALTON then take the A169 to PICKERING.
Turn left onto the A170 for 2 miles and then turn left again onto a minor road signposted to MARTON for one mile.
Orchard House is opposite the old red telephone box in the centre of the village.
Drive through the double gates to the right of the house into the courtyard at the rear and start to relax.
You will be greeted with a cup of tea or even something stronger if you wish.

Informations about the rates:

Bed and Breakfast is £30.00 per person per night for a minimum stay of two nights for two sharing a double room.
Extra nights are reduced to £25.00 per person per night.

Our self-catering cottage just for two is in the courtyard at the rear of the property and is hired by the week.
Costs from £175 to £300 depending on season.
We also offer short breaks, 3 or 4 nights from October to March.
